OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Issue Statement on Nagorno-Karabakh
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have issued a statement regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue during the meeting of the OSCE Foreign Ministers in Stockholm. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced this during a press conference following the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE.
He also noted that the statement, among other things, welcomes the mediating efforts of the Russian Federation. It is worth mentioning that on November 9, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, signing a declaration which entails the transfer of seven districts of Artsakh to Azerbaijan, along with Shushi and Hadrut, with the exception of one village, and the villages of Askeran and Martuni regions, as well as the Talish and Mataghis villages in the Martakert region.
