Iranologist Vardan Voskanian wrote on his Facebook page: "We will be made to believe that defining borders will solve all our problems, somewhat like how those who have occupied the symbolic fields of Armenia have long covertly and overtly propagated the false and destructive notion that 'Artsakh is the reason for your poor living.' By defining borders, only one thing will be 'defined'—the next point from which the enemy will continue the next phase of Armenia's occupation through all available means of hard and soft power.

Therefore, the only truly real national security agenda must be the rapid and qualitative restoration and modernization of our army and preparing for the next clash with the enemy."
