EAEU Member States' Executive Leaders to Attend Two-Day Meeting in Yerevan
Amid heightened tensions along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, a two-day meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will kick off today in Yerevan, with numerous economic issues on the agenda.
The meeting will be attended by the executive leaders of the EAEU member countries, including Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan. A closed-door meeting is scheduled for today at 4 PM, followed by an extended session tomorrow.
According to the official announcement, the parties will discuss last year's trade figures, and the agenda will include matters related to agriculture, cargo transportation, and pharmaceuticals.
The parties also plan to sign an agreement on the procedure for exchanging information on credit histories within the EAEU framework.
