CSTO Secretary General's Remarks on Armenian-Azerbaijani Clashes
During the 9th meeting of the Secretaries of Security Councils of CIS member states, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Stanislav Zas, stated that tensions between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides continue along the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh, despite the steps that have been taken, according to the official CSTO website.
"The trilateral agreements enshrined in the statement of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on November 9, 2020, allowed for an end to bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh. However, despite the measures being undertaken, there is still tension along the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides," stated the CSTO chief.
