Armenian Side Informs UN Security Council Members About Situation at Border With Azerbaijan: Permanent Representative
The Permanent Representative of Armenia to the UN, Mher Margaryan, stated that the Armenian side has informed members of the Organization's Security Council about the situation at the border with Azerbaijan.
The diplomat emphasized that the international community must appropriately respond to these violations of international law.
In particular, according to the provisions of the UN Charter and the trilateral statement (Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia), a ceasefire regime was established in 2020.
It was previously reported that the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has stabilized after Sergey Shoigu had a phone conversation with the heads of the defense ministries of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
