President Signs: Suren Papikyan Appointed Minister of Defense
Arshak Karapetyan has been relieved of his duties as the Minister of Defense of Armenia. He will be succeeded by Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan.
Armen Sarkissian, the President of Armenia, signed two decrees a moment ago, one of which dismisses Arshak Karapetyan from the position of Minister of Defense, while the other appoints Suren Papikyan to this role.
