Lebanon Has an Armenian Minister
The President of Lebanon, Michel Aoun, has signed a decree to form a new government led by Najib Mikati. This was reported by the Al Jazeera television channel. One of the 24 ministers in the government is of Armenian descent. George Bojkian has been appointed as the head of the Ministry of Industry.
It is noted that Najib Mikati, who heads the government, is the richest person in the country and has previously held this position twice.
With the approval of the government's composition, the political crisis that has lasted for months in the country has come to an end.
