Expanded Consultation Held in Artsakh: What is the Agenda?
On September 10, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, convened an expanded working consultation. According to a statement released by the Presidential Administration of Artsakh, the meeting addressed issues related to granting combat participant status to individuals who took part in the defense of Artsakh during the war unleashed by Azerbaijan in 2020.
Samvel Shahramanyan, the head of the inter-agency commission working on the mentioned issues and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, presented a report on the completed work.
President Harutyunyan instructed the responsible officials of the interested bodies to clarify the approaches and procedures for granting status, ensuring that unjust decisions are excluded.
