A Difficult and Tough Conversation Regarding the Border Villages of Tigranashen and Tavush, Says Nairi Hokhikyan
Journalist Nairi Hokhikyan wrote on his Facebook page: "I had a difficult, very tough, and hard conversation today regarding the border villages of Tigranashen and Tavush. Since I promised not to disclose the name of my interlocutor, I will only mention that I have made clear demands to publicly exclude the transfer of Armenian territories (Tigranashen, Baghanis-Ayrum, and two villages in the Berd region) that were dedicated to Azerbaijan during the Soviet era.
I explained in detail what a disaster the Armenian government has brought upon our statehood by handing over a section of the Syunik road to the enemy, and what calamity it would be if, due to their weakness and materialism, the interstate roads of the Ararat and Tavush regions were also endangered. Handing over Tigranashen will provoke the entire Armenian nation, trampling on the enemy and the government that colludes with them.
My interlocutor promised to convey what I mentioned to the relevant person or persons, while simultaneously assuring me that there is no internal decision to hand over territories. I said that I do not trust any word from the political authority. I do not know whether it will yield results or not. But I clearly and directly told the spokesperson: my foot will remain on the gas pedal until the stabilization of my statehood, until the annihilation of fatherless scoundrels and external enemies.
I hope he understood and will convey this to the object."
