Education for Relatives of Fallen or Disabled Soldiers Will Be Free
On September 8, a draft law to amend the "Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel" will be voted on during the Government session, which guarantees that:
- The state provides admission for former servicemen with a disability pension of the 1st or 2nd group due to fulfilling their service duties, as well as for the parents, spouse, and children under the age of 27 of deceased servicemen, to educational institutions accredited in the Republic of Armenia that are included in the list set by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. This will be done outside the general competition, through a separate competition, on the condition of passing exams with positive scores, funded by the state budget of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the procedures established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
- Transfer from the paid system of educational institutions in the Republic of Armenia to the free system of the respective educational institution.
