Have Some Conscience, Donate to Checkpoints: How Did So Many Thermal Cameras End Up in Private Hands? - Sofia Hovsepyan
Former MP Sofia Hovsepyan wrote on her Facebook page: "I want to understand how, in our country, so many thermal cameras ended up in the hands of individuals, who justify it by saying, 'it belongs to them or they simply bought it from Russia.' Is it true that they purchased it for this purpose and brought it here to sell it through social networks?
Do you understand what kind of individuals are involved? The results we achieved were significant; now each one brings them home under their arms, and there is a group that sells one thermal camera every day. Today, I was also approached for a thermal camera. Have some conscience, donate to the checkpoints, or keep it; it might still come in handy for you at the border.
P.S. During the war, it was urgent, and there wasn’t a single one throughout the Republic of Armenia. We even collected money again and purchased one, and there was none left. Now, there are so many that you can open several serious specialized stores with them!"
