New Details on the Elimination of Iranian General Involve Three Snipers
Media sources have obtained new details regarding the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a U.S. strike in January 2020. It has been reported that the Americans succeeded in acquiring a mobile phone from the general's entourage using a spy program. However, this was only temporarily effective.
On the fateful day, six hours before Soleimani's plane landed in Baghdad, U.S. intelligence received three phone numbers used by the general. According to reports, CIA specialists began monitoring these numbers. The eastern part of the city was secured under the guise of military exercises, while three snipers from Delta Force operated on the ground. Operational data was gathered by specialized personnel representing one of the most secretive units.
The identification of Soleimani was conducted by Kurdish special forces disguised as airport staff. It was noted that an MQ-9 Reaper drone was circling in the Baghdad skies at that time. Upon receiving the command, missiles targeted the convoy containing Soleimani. A second vehicle accelerated quickly, but it was later eliminated by a sniper.
