Is it Possible to Produce the Sputnik V Vaccine in Armenia? Avinyan
The Sputnik V vaccine could potentially be produced in Yerevan. This opinion was expressed by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan during a conversation with reporters.
Regarding questions about the joint production of the vaccine between Russia and Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Avinyan found it challenging to provide specific answers, only noting that the possibilities need to be explored.
"I assume that it can be organized at our Institute of Biology. We need to understand in detail with our Russian partners to what extent and with which components this production can be organized here," Avinyan stated.
According to him, the components of the vaccine could be prepared at the Institute of Molecular Biology of the National Academy of Sciences in Yerevan.
