Boris Avagyan Warned Against Public Communication on Irrelevant Issues to His Position: Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Service has commented on the decision to dismiss the Deputy Director of the Emergency Situations Service, Boris Avagyan.
“In response to certain media speculations, we would like to clarify once more that the reason for Boris Avagyan's dismissal is the abuse of his official position and the violation of work ethics. Boris Avagyan has spoken on public platforms about topics that have absolutely nothing to do with his position. He has had no discussion or exchange of ideas with the head of the committee dealing with issues of captives, hostages, and missing persons, Interior Minister Karen Sargsyan, on this matter. Moreover, he did not even inform his leadership about his participation in the said event.
Every officer of the state emergency service conducts any discussion or interview invitation or organizes a press conference only after receiving permission from the superior command. It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time Boris Avagyan has independently engaged in public communication on issues unrelated to his position, regarding which he was warned in the past. Therefore, he has again violated work regulations, which is why he has been dismissed from his position by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs,” the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Service reports.
