The Chief Prosecutor's Mansion Worth Over 250 Million, Built on Paper for 43 Million Drams
Politik.am reports: "This government often talks about the palaces of the former officials to deceive the public, yet forgets the former officials who had sworn allegiance to them. A striking example is Arthur Davtyan, the current Chief Prosecutor. This official is both a former figure and possesses a luxurious mansion, all while being considered a favorite of Prime Minister Pashinyan.
Moreover, Davtyan has become so detached from reality that he personally speaks about the illegal properties of the 'previous officials' and assures that he will fight against them.
One could believe in the sincerity of the authorities if the public understood how Arthur Davtyan, a humble village boy from Horum, has managed to build a two-story mansion in Yerevan.
Davtyan would do well to explain what services the former officials provided in exchange for the land granted to him in the Ajapnyak district, where he built a mansion vastly different from his rural past. Interestingly, according to Davtyan himself, this mansion was built for 43 million drams. This is noteworthy, as in the same Ajapnyak district, similar mansions start at 500,000 dollars and can go up to over 1 million dollars. It is curious what kind of construction talent Davtyan possesses that allows him to build a house worth at least 500,000 dollars for 85,000 dollars."
