Armenian Ambassador Discusses Detained Armenian Prisoners with US Congressman
The Armenian Ambassador to the United States, Varujan Nersesyan, held a phone call on March 12 with Congressman Byron Donalds. This information was shared on the Facebook page of the Armenian Embassy in the US.
During the meeting, Ambassador Nersesyan presented the humanitarian situation created as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh and emphasized the issue of repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians held captive.
The two sides discussed potential measures that US legislators could take regarding the issue of prisoners of war.
