A self-immolation incident has been reported in Moscow. An unidentified man attempted to set himself on fire, according to Interfax, citing sources.
According to the agency, bystanders knocked him to the ground and extinguished the flames. The man is alive but has sustained burns to 60% of his body and was transported to the hospital.
It is still unclear whether this incident is related to the protests, as there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement. However, a source from RIA Novosti has reported that it is unrelated to the actions. The 40-year-old man was left without housing, which has reportedly led to his drastic action.
