Armenian Advocacy Group Urges US Authorities to Allocate $250 Million in Aid to Artsakh and Armenia
The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has called on US authorities to approve a $250 million aid package for Artsakh and Armenia ahead of the New Year.
According to a statement posted on ANCA’s Facebook page, the proposal includes allocating $100 million for refugees, $20 million for housing, $0-20 million for food security, $20 million for water supply/sewerage, $20 million for healthcare, $25 million for COVID-19 response, $20 million for reconstruction, and $25 million for demining (destruction of unexploded ordnance).
