Azerbaijanis Are Currently in Shurnukh Village
An hour ago, Azerbaijanis were in the village of Shurnukh with Russian peacekeepers, but they have since departed. This was stated by the village head, Hakob Arshakyan, in an interview with LURER.com.
He noted that they came to Shurnukh to establish their border points. “The entire lower neighborhood is indicated by GPS as theirs. Their border will be our highway. We were told that everything will be fine, and the village will remain ours. We just have to wait and see what happens, whether we stay here or if we will also be given time to vacate the village,” said the village head.
When asked if there was any panic among the residents, the village head responded that the villagers were not allowed to approach the Azerbaijanis, but panic only arose after their departure. “After they left, the villagers gathered here, and people are very anxious. The border they have drawn is very close to the settlements, passing right through the middle of the village. The border of the Azerbaijani is already underneath the garden of a resident from the upper neighborhood,” added Hakob Arshakyan.
In conclusion, the village head stated that they are ready to take up arms and defend their village if necessary.
