50-Year-Old Man Beats and Strangles His Mother in Karin Village

Today, the police department in Ashtarak received an urgent call from a paramedic reporting a woman found strangled in one of the houses in Karin village, Ararat region. This was reported by the Police of Armenia.

Operative group officers were dispatched to the scene to verify the woman's identity. Following immediate operational and investigative measures, it was determined that the woman, born in 1936, had been beaten and then strangled by her 50-year-old son.

The man was located and taken into custody by the Ashtarak police. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and an investigation is underway.
