‘Suzuki’ Vehicle Collides with Russian Peacekeeping Forces Car on Stepanakert-Askeran Road; 2 Dead

A notification was received by the emergency situations state service's crisis management center regarding a traffic accident that occurred on the Stepanakert-Askeran road, 4 km in.

Two teams from the service's rapid response special unit were dispatched to the scene immediately. It was determined at the site that a ‘Suzuki Vitara’ vehicle had veered off the roadway and collided with a ‘Ural’ vehicle belonging to the Russian peacekeeping forces.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the ‘Suzuki Vitara’ and a passenger died on the spot. The emergency responders extracted their bodies from the vehicle and transported them. Their identities are currently being determined.
