We Must Exclude Any Developments Leading to Tension: Ombudsman
Each state body is obliged to ensure the rule of law and guarantee a high level of human rights protection in its actions and within the country, stated the Ombudsman of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan.
Dear compatriots,
In these responsible days for our country, it is more necessary than ever for us to be united and in solidarity. Each state body is obliged to ensure the rule of law and guarantee a high level of human rights protection in its actions and within the country.
The imperative to solve the problems facing the country requires vigilance and greater attention on our part regarding our speech and behavior, in the interest of ensuring an atmosphere of solidarity and peace within our country. In these days, the words and behavior of public figures play an important role, serving as examples of unity and solidarity.
Regardless of political or other beliefs, no matter the circumstances, we must not allow, and we must completely exclude any developments or incidents leading to tension.
The Office of the Ombudsman is working under extraordinary conditions with the maximum possible resources and legal status. All measures will be taken within the framework of the powers granted to the Ombudsman by law to protect human rights.
