5 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in Turkey
A 5 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the southeastern Turkish city of Siirt this morning, according to Al Arabiya.
The tremors were registered at a depth of 20 kilometers. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reports that there are no details regarding destruction or casualties.
Siirt is a predominantly Kurdish city located in eastern Turkey, near the borders with Syria and Iran.
