Car Skids Off Road and Overturns on Sevan-Charbakh Highway, Passenger Dies

On November 30, at 11:58 AM, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident had occurred near Tsovagyugh. A special firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was discovered that an "Opel Astra G" model car (driver: Arman G., born in 1985) had skidded off the roadway and overturned on the 1st kilometer of the Tsovagyugh-Charbakh highway. Before the arrival of rescuers, the driver and passenger Martin M. (born in 1998) were extracted from the vehicle by local forces and transported to Sevan Medical Center. Martin M. unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, while Arman G.'s health condition was assessed as stable by doctors.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas cylinder valve.
