Azerbaijani Social Media Platforms Organize Polls Encouraging the Killing of Armenians: Armenia's Human Rights Defender

In Azerbaijani social media domains, events and polls that encourage the killing of Armenians and promote brutality are being organized, with participants displaying pride and happiness for the atrocities committed, further promoting manifestations of anti-Armenian sentiment. This information was shared by Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan on his Facebook page.

“The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has obtained evidence supporting these claims. For instance, on this page of an Azerbaijani social network, a photograph of a decapitated body is shared, with statements claiming it refers to an Armenian serviceman, and a poll is organized with an exclusive intent to incite cynicism and hatred. This is clearly visible in the accompanying materials (the original poll and the translation),” he stated.

The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has documented all of this and will present it to international bodies in accordance with jurisdiction,” he added, attaching a video and photographs which are presented below.
