Stepanakert Comes Under Morning Shelling; Civilian Infrastructure Targeted Again
Stepanakert has come under shelling this morning, with civilian infrastructure once again targeted. This information was reported by the Artsakh Emergency Situations Ministry.
“On October 30, shortly after the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan and the unconditional implementation of the ceasefire agreements, the city of Artsakh wakes up again to the sounds of missiles fired by the enemy. At 7:08 AM, explosions were heard in the city. At the same moment, the air raid alert was activated. This time, the central market of Stepanakert was targeted by Azerbaijani forces. Part of a public infrastructure has been destroyed, causing significant material damage to the peaceful population. Following the next explosion, a residential building was destroyed along with all belongings. Nearby apartments have also sustained partial damage. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties. It is noteworthy that on the night of October 30 to 31, a relatively calm situation was maintained in the capital and regions,” the statement reads.
