VIDEO: Earthquake and Tsunami in Turkey
A magnitude 6.8-7 earthquake has occurred in the western part of Turkey. The epicenter was located in the area of Seferihisar in İzmir province. The depth at the epicenter was reported to be 16.5 kilometers, according to RIA Novosti.
Turkish media and eyewitnesses have reported that the tremors were felt in western provinces of the country, as well as in Istanbul. No information about injuries or material damages has been reported yet. It is noteworthy that a tsunami also occurred alongside the earthquake.
