Fighting Continues at a Lower Intensity Compared to Previous Days: Hovhannisyan
Fighting in the southern direction has continued with several isolated clashes. The combat zone has especially shifted further south, closer to the Araks River. This was announced during a press briefing by the Ministry of Defense representative, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
“In several isolated locations, all attempts by the adversary to advance have been thwarted. No group has advanced even a millimeter; they have been pushed back, suffering significant losses,” he stated.
The Ministry of Defense representative noted that air force operations have been limited today, despite the fact that our armed forces shot down one aircraft in the morning, which has been officially reported.
“The fighting is ongoing, but it is not as intense compared to the hottest clashes of previous days, although it maintains its level. Primarily, artillery is being used, with very few armored vehicles deployed, along with numerous diversion groups, assault units, infantry, and partially air support,” added Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
