Captured Arek Sargsyan and Narek Amirjanyan Called Their Parents, They Are Alive and in Hospital: Artak Zeynalyan

Former Minister of Justice and human rights activist Artak Zeynalyan has announced that captured Arek Sargsyan and Narek Amirjanyan have called their parents, confirming they are alive and currently in the hospital.

“My dear ones, just now, captured Arek Sargsyan and Narek Amirjanyan have called their parents. They are alive and in the hospital,” he wrote.

It should be noted that on October 16, 2020, the European Court of Human Rights granted the applications of Armenian applicants, obliging the Azerbaijani government to ensure the inviolability of Arek Sargsyan and Narek Amirjanyan’s lives and their right to health. At the same time, the court demanded that Azerbaijan provide information about their condition and health status to the European Court by October 22, 2020.
