Protesters Near UN Office Request UN Representative to Address Their Demands
On October 16, a group of citizens staged a protest in front of the United Nations office in Yerevan, demanding that there be no indifference and that concrete actions be taken against the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan in Artsakh.
The participants of the protest approached the entrance of the office, requesting that a UN representative come to hear their demands. However, a security staff member informed them that there was a quarantine in place.
“You have a quarantine, but soldiers are dying at the border. Open the gates,” one of the protesters stated.
One protester held pictures showing Azerbaijani soldiers allegedly cutting the throats of Armenian soldiers, expressing satisfaction with their actions.
