Milan, Italy Accepts Independence of Artsakh
MP Gayane Abrahamyan of the 'My Step' faction in the Armenian National Assembly reports that the Milan City Council unanimously accepted the independence of Artsakh last night through an urgent initiative.
"Last night, the Milan City Council unanimously accepted the independence of Artsakh and, as stated in the initiative, instructed the Mayor of Milan and the city's executive authorities to 'ask the national authorities of Italy to recognize the Republic of Artsakh as a civilizational act that can lead not only to the realization of justice but also to put an end to the silence that has long been an accomplice of crime,'" the MP wrote.
"We thank the members of the city council who initiated this entire process, especially Matteo Forte," she added.
