Captain Gevorg Balayan Destroys 6 Tanks, 7 Armored Vehicles, 3 Unarmored Equipment: The Ranks of Modern Heroes Expand
Lieutenant Colonel Armen Israelian will be awarded the "Medal for Courage," Captain Gevorg Balayan the "Battle Cross" of the 1st degree, and private Harutyun Vardanyan the "Battle Cross" of the 2nd degree. This was announced by the Artsakh Defense Army.
"The ranks of modern heroes are expanding. Captain Gevorg Balayan is a brilliant representative of the new generation of Armenian military personnel. He has destroyed 6 enemy tanks, 7 armored combat vehicles, and 3 unarmored vehicles. He has been nominated for the "Battle Cross" of the 1st degree.
Private Harutyun Vardanyan will also be awarded the "Battle Cross" of the 2nd degree for destroying 3 enemy tanks, as well as an equal number of armored combat vehicles and personnel in the southeastern part of the front line.

During fierce battles across various sections of the front line, technical superiority has enabled our forces to make significant gains. Lieutenant Colonel Armen Israelian will be awarded the "Medal for Courage" for ensuring exceptional technical support," the statement from the Defense Army reads.
