Where is the UN? No visits, no statements, no assistance. Human Rights Defender of Artsakh
The Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, finds the selective distribution of statements by the UN regarding the consequences of the ongoing war in Nagorno-Karabakh perplexing. As reported by Armenpress, Artak Beglaryan published Azerbaijani UN Permanent Representative Ghulam Ismailov's posts about Ganja on his Twitter page, commenting: 'How is this to be understood when UN and UNICEF representatives are selectively disseminating statements regarding the consequences of the war? Where is the UN when the peaceful residents of Artsakh are dying and suffering from Azerbaijani aggression? No visits, no statements, no assistance. While expressing sorrow over all misfortunes, I demand real universality of human rights from the UN.'
