Prosecutor General's Advisor Provides Details on Armenian Prisoners' Killings
The Advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Gor Abrahamyan, reports that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the brutal murder of two residents of Artsakh during the aggressive war launched by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh.
A video has circulated widely on social media today, showing Azerbaijani military personnel firing upon an unarmed elderly man and a young individual, motivated by apparent national hatred, and exhibiting extreme brutality by continuing to shoot at the bodies lying on the ground.
Following the murder, a criminal case has been opened by the Prosecutor General's Office of Artsakh under the characteristics of the first part of Article 416 of the Criminal Code of Artsakh.
According to factual data obtained from conducted measures, the murders of two civilians, B.H., born in 1947, a resident of the city of Hadrut, and Y.A., born in 1995, a resident of the village of Tayk in the Hadrut region, were carried out by Azerbaijani military personnel from a diversionary group during their incursion into the city of Hadrut, on Artur Mkrtchyan Street, in serious violation of international humanitarian law.
