Photos: Stepanakert Cleans Up Enemy-Caused Bombs and Missiles
To ensure the safe living conditions of the population, following the directive of the Director of the State Emergency Service, Colonel Karen Sargsyan, the demining groups of the service continue to clean the capital, Stepanakert, from both exploded and unexploded bombs and missiles.
The deminers have already removed 300mm Smerch-type missiles from areas adjacent to several neighborhoods and near busy roadways, transporting them to a safe location for disposal. The operations will continue over the coming days, and after the complete cessation of fire, the efforts will extend to the regions.
It is worth recalling that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack on Artsakh, also targeting the civilian population.
