2-Year-Old Artvik Undergoes Surgery, No Threat to Life Says Armen Muradyan
The Rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, announced on his Facebook page: "The piercing and expressive gaze of 2-year-old Artvik is directed at the World... Artvik has undergone surgery, and his life is not in danger. The 2-year-old Artvik, who was injured in a heavy shelling in Martuni, has been operated on at the Surb Astvatsm Yak Hospital in Yerevan. The complex surgery on his head was successful, and there is no threat to the child’s life. He also has injuries to his limbs and is under strict medical supervision.
As a result of the shelling, the young child’s 9-year-old sister has passed away."
