Many Armenians from the Diaspora Express Desire to Arrive in Armenia
Armenians living in various countries have expressed a desire to arrive in Armenia and provide physical support to their homeland. This was stated by the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan during a press conference on October 14, where he urged them to collaborate with the office of the Chief Commissioner upon their arrival in Armenia.
“There are many of our compatriots who want to be present in the homeland and directly support this struggle,” Sinanyan said. “We have numerous medical teams that have come primarily from Russia, the United States, and Europe, and that influx is ongoing. We encourage such influx and we are in serious need of support; our doctors are bravely fighting for every life, but their capabilities are also limited. Therefore, the more assistance we receive, the better. I urge others with different skills and abilities, who are coming to Armenia or intend to come to Armenia, to again collaborate with our office so that your capabilities can be optimally utilized in this situation.”
