Kremlin Comments on Turkey's Possible Participation in Nagorno-Karabakh Negotiations
The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Turkey's possible participation in negotiations concerning the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, stated that Russia maintains that the participants of the Moscow meeting have confirmed the unchanging nature of the negotiation format.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Turkish President, Ibrahim Kalin, announced that Ankara "does not object" to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's proposal to conduct quadrilateral negotiations regarding the Karabakh issue, with the participation of Baku, Yerevan, Ankara, and Moscow.
“In Moscow, first and foremost, it is based on the fact that during the last meeting of the foreign ministers in Moscow, all three parties confirmed the principle of the unchanged nature of the negotiation format,” Peskov told reporters.
