The OSCE Minsk Group is in Contact with the International Committee of the Red Cross
The OSCE Minsk Group has issued a statement. The co-chairs welcomed the announcement made by the Russian Foreign Minister following the negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding a humanitarian ceasefire. The co-chairs urged both parties to fully comply with their commitments.
The statement noted that the co-chairs and the personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk, are engaged in intensive discussions with the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the return of remains and the possible exchange of prisoners.
The Minsk Group called on the parties to immediately provide the necessary security and logistical conditions. It is worth mentioning that yesterday in Moscow, an agreement was reached between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan, according to which a humanitarian ceasefire was announced starting from 12:00 today. However, Azerbaijan has not adhered to this agreement.
