About 180 Cluster Munitions Found in Stepanakert Since September 27
The Search and Rescue teams of the Emergency Situations State Service of Artsakh continue to search for and neutralize unexploded ordnance in various streets of Stepanakert, as well as in areas adjacent to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings following shelling. These operations will also continue in the regions in the coming days, according to the Emergency Situations State Service of Artsakh.
Since September 27, approximately 180 cluster munitions have been found, some of which were noticed and reported by residents. The bomb disposal teams have destroyed them on-site.
Once again, we urge citizens: if you come across explosive materials, mines, as well as shrapnel shells and cluster munitions, do not touch them. Immediately call the Emergency State Service's crisis management center at the following numbers: 911, 101, 112.
Unexploded ordnance pose a significant risk to the civilian population for a long time, and we ask everyone to remain vigilant.
