UN Expresses Hope that Meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Will Lead to Cessation of Hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh
The UN has expressed hope that the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, in Moscow with the participation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will lead to a cessation of hostilities.
This was announced during a press briefing by the official representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stefan Dujarric, as reported by tass.ru.
“We welcome these efforts and the upcoming meeting. We hope that it will primarily lead to a cessation of hostilities,” he stated.
