Netherlands Urges Government to Condemn Turkey's Rhetoric with Resolution
With the initiative of Saadet Karabulut, a member of the Socialist Party (SP) of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a fourth resolution regarding Azerbaijan and Turkey's aggression has been adopted. This resolution calls on the government to condemn Turkey's military rhetoric and urges Turkey to work towards a ceasefire and negotiations within the context of the EU.
Below is the text of the resolution presented by Armenpress:
“Following the discussion of the issue, the Parliament notes that the violence between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh has once again erupted with great intensity. It observes that Turkey is encouraging Azerbaijan to continue the war through its aggressive wartime rhetoric. It also finds that all parties directly and indirectly involved in the conflict should work first to establish a ceasefire and return to the negotiating table. The government is called upon to condemn Turkey's military rhetoric and urge Turkey to work towards a ceasefire and negotiations within the context of the EU.”
