Azerbaijan Will Not Make Concessions to Armenia, and No Other Country Can Influence Baku's Decision: Aliyev
Azerbaijan's President has stated that he is "ready to return to peaceful negotiations regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue," while insisting that he "will not make concessions to Armenia, and no other country can influence Baku's decision on this matter." Aliyev’s message was broadcast by local television channels at a time when a meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia was underway in Moscow.
Previously, Baku had declared it would not engage in negotiations until Armenian forces were withdrawn from the "occupied territories." Today, Aliyev asserted that he is offering the Armenian side "the last opportunity for a peaceful resolution of the issue," according to Reuters.
