Greece Calls for Special OSCE Permanent Council Meeting on Nagorno-Karabakh Issue
According to a report by the TASS agency, referring to a statement from the Greek Foreign Ministry, Greece has demanded an extraordinary meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on September 30 to discuss the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As per the source, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias submitted the relevant request in a letter addressed to Albania, which is presiding over the OSCE.
"The Greek initiative aims to carry out discussions within the OSCE framework with the participation of both involved parties and explore all possible avenues for de-escalating the crisis. The goal is to resume negotiations within the Minsk Group regarding the peaceful settlement of the issue," the Greek Foreign Ministry's statement emphasized.
