Turkey Was the Only Country to Support the War, Says Karo Paylan on Military Actions in Artsakh
Karo Paylan, an Armenian member of the Turkish Parliament and a member of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party, addressed the military operations that began yesterday, September 27, in Nagorno-Karabakh and Turkey's reaction to them on his Facebook page.
"In the context of the ongoing Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, Turkey was the only country in the world that supported the war. While all countries and international organizations are calling for peace, the palace and the media continue to call for war. War is a disaster. Let us say no to war," wrote the Armenian MP.
Previously, Paylan had accused Turkey of playing the role of a "firestarter" in escalating the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
It is noteworthy that on September 27, around 07:15, the adversary launched an attack along the entire contact line of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani armed forces, using artillery and strike drones, also targeting settlements located deep in the rear, including the capital Stepanakert.
