Those Willing to Provide Assistance to the Population of Artsakh in Russia Can Contact the Armenian Embassy
The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Russian Federation urges the public to verify the authenticity of initiatives aimed at assisting the population of Artsakh.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the Armenian Embassy in Russia states that the initiators of such projects can reach out to the embassy.
“In the last day, we have been informed about various initiatives in Russia to provide assistance to the population of Artsakh, which are being carried out by individual organizations, foundations, various structures, and individuals. The initiators vary, and each has its own direction and characteristics. At the same time, we often encounter quite dubious publications and appeals from individuals regarding fundraising for assistance on social networks. We ask that you be cautious in these matters and verify the authenticity of information,” the post reads.
The embassy informs that those interested in providing assistance can contact the Armenian Embassy in Russia (+7(966) 118-89-84). This will help combine efforts and coordinate work.
For the purpose of providing assistance to servicemen, the authors of initiatives can also send aid to the Fund for Ensuring Armenian Soldiers (1000plus.am).
The message adds that to support the residents of Artsakh, the pan-Armenian fund “Hayastan” has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign titled “We Are, Our Borders: Everyone for Artsakh” on its website (himnadram.org).
