Military Situation Leads to Suspension of Hospital Admissions for Planned Patients, Ministry of Health
Based on point "d" of part 1 of Article 12 of the law on the legal regime of martial law, and the 1st sub-point of point 1 of the annex to the Government of the Republic of Armenia decision No. 1370-A from August 20, 2020, Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan has signed an order to organize medical assistance and services to the population in connection with the martial law in the Republic of Armenia. According to the order, the acceptance of patients applying for hospital treatment in medical organizations on a planned basis is suspended.
It is important to note that only patients requiring resuscitation measures or emergency medical assistance will be accepted. Meanwhile, after assessing the health condition of patients receiving medical assistance in hospital settings, their discharge will be ensured with further monitoring organized through primary healthcare facilities.
We hope that our fellow citizens will understand the decision made and postpone their planned hospital visits until the end of martial law.
