Foreign Journalists Arrive in Armenia
Foreign journalists have arrived in Armenia to cover the attack on Artsakh's borders. Anna Naghdalyan, the spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated in an interview with Haykakan Zhamanak that there is significant interest among journalists from outside Armenia. “Most of the journalists have already arrived,” she said.
When asked how many journalists have already come to Armenia, Naghdalyan found it difficult to provide a precise answer. She mentioned that the number of applications is quite high, and due to the complexities and time-consuming nature of transporting journalists amid the coronavirus pandemic, it is impossible to gather accurate figures. Furthermore, the spokesperson clarified that it is also not definitive from which countries the journalists primarily come, saying that they are very diverse and it is not possible to single out specific regions.
