Exit from the Republic of Armenia Restricted for Reservists
According to the government decision No. 1586-N dated September 27, 2020, the exit from the territory of Armenia is restricted for individuals registered in the reserve. This applies to ordinary soldiers, junior and senior officer ranks up to 48 years of age, junior officer ranks (including captains) up to 50 years, and senior officer ranks (major, lieutenant colonel, and colonel) up to 55 years old. This information comes from the Government of Armenia.
It is important to recall that on September 27, Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, targeting even peaceful civilians. The Armenian forces have downed 5 enemy helicopters, 36 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 47 pieces of armored vehicles, mostly tanks. The enemy has suffered over 370 casualties and several hundred injuries. On the Armenian side, preliminary data indicates there are 58 dead and about 200 injured, with around 120 still receiving treatment while the others have recovered and returned to duty.
A state of martial law has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh as of September 27.
