Man Electrocutes Himself While Performing Electrical Welding in Ararat Province

A tragic incident occurred in Ararat province today, September 25. Around 15:55, Karen Hovhannisyan, an officer from the Masis division of the police, received information from residents that a man's body was found on the main street of the village of Ayntap.

According to shamshyan.com, police investigators determined that the deceased was S.P., a resident of the city of Artik, who was electrocuted by approximately 10,000 volts while performing electrical welding work on a "naavesi" and fell from a height of 3.5 meters, dying on the spot.

A team from the Investigation Department of the Ararat regional investigative office of the Armenian Investigative Committee has arrived at the scene, and they are currently conducting an examination of the site.
